• Are you just immature or do you suffer from Tourette syndrome (TS)?
• Do you have simple phonic tics involving meaningless sudden noises such as sniffing or grunting; or complex tics such as echolalia or coprolalia?
• How long have you had signs of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety, learning problems, sleep disorders, depression, and anger dysregulation?
• Do you have symptoms of schizophrenia or bi-polar disorder? _________________ Top 100 Greatest Music Albums by RFNAPLES

What is your point of quoting albummaster? Have I been accused of disagreeing with him? I don't; but we now have 50 choices to show our different choices and rankings.
BTW, his complete quote:
albummaster wrote: | the limit of 40 albums in the member lists is an artificial limit, so if people want it we could increase the limit again. Having said that, the site was never meant to become a database of all music albums, just the best ones (hence the name!) If an album doesn't make your top 40, does it make a great one? Open question... |
albummaster wrote: | I agree pretty much entirely with joannajewsom here. *you* choose which albums appear on this site, so if *you* choose to go the popularist route through your choice of your albums then that is your choice. If we set a size limit that is too high, we are going to end up in a position where it's more and more difficult to find the best albums on this site through the sheer volume. But having said that, if 40 isn't enough albums to express your individuality then we have to do something to address it.
I'm not against increasing the limit (it was doubled from 20 not so long ago), it's just finding that balance where the chart-size isn't so small that it's restrictive but not too big that the site loses focus. At the same time, the aim is not to alienate people. Perhaps we could have a system where more senior/active members are 'rewarded' by bigger chart sizes? |

He seems to think our charts should be expressing our individuality, while you're under the impression that the term greatest suggests that we should be expressing societal views. You explicitly stated that a truly 'unique' chart couldn't be listing the greatest albums. Why would albummaster make efforts to allow individuality if it went against the point of the site, to find the greatest albums? Because you lack understanding of language, you think uniqueness is incompatible with greatness.
albummaster says individuality, sheep says societal...
I'll go with albummaster.

And what's your point of using the full quotes, when most of what's there is irrelevant. Nothing there contradicts his explicit statement about individuality. Now we have 50 slots to express our individuality, not societal views.
