Now tell me how you really feel about the site's overall list(s). What would you rate it?

74/100, aka a C. Adequate but really could do better, with a lot of good stuff and a ton of crap to go with it. _________________ I love all music. It makes you feel like living. Silence is death.

Most posters are pretty well versed in a few genres, and if you look at several lists, then you get a damn good idea of what good music is. I think this site would be A material; we all know what we're talking about, mostly.

The only criticism I have is the amount of Beatles and Radiohead in the top 20, but apart from that, it is a good representative of the best ever albums,
80/100

I think that it is a good list. The selection of "feeder charts" (VH1, RS, NME) could be improved to bring more current albums into the database faster and to expand its flavour (relatively too many UK lists now). I suggest including Best 100 Charts from AV Club and Pitchfork if they are not already.

I like it... mostly stuff I know and like (enough to reassure me I'm part of a broader culture), some stuff I don't (enough to reassure me that I retain some individuality, or, erm, UNIQUEness (oxymoron?) and the prospect that there's still more to explore!
It is pleasing to be among people of broadly similar musical tastes, but I would be most distressed if my tastes where mirrored exactly in the whole...for what would that say about me?
(or is this the other side of another current thread?)

It's good list. Some stuff is way to high but it does seem very accurate in places. 7.0

One of my all-time favorite things to do is show my dad something really loud like RATM's debut album or Nirvana's Nevermind, have him say how bad he thinks it is, and then say "this was, through aggregate, one of the best albums on all time". You won't believe the look on his face.
On topic: I personally love the list. Obviously, there are a few albums that I wish deserved more attention (coughLittleEarthquakescough), but that's more of an issue of it being unknown than anything else.
