what are some songs that you could listen to over and over and over again on repeat for hours at a time? (or do you think the idea insane?) this came to mind when one of those such songs for me popped up on my S3 (and i proceeded to play it a few times in a row).

Here's my list (which i'll try to expand on today if time allows). I find it interesting that only 1 of these songs is close to an all-time favorite. Seems contradictory, right?

Bring Me to Life by Evanescence
Something Real (Inside Me/Inside You) by Mr. Mister
Gett Off by Prince
You Think You Know Her by Cause & Effect
The Prisoner by Howard Jones

Anyway, what are yours?

These songs are often dangerous.
I usually find that some songs I keep on repeat, within a few months I get absolutely sick of and have become some of my least favourite songs.

Very few songs I could truly listen to and not at any point get sick of.
I think Pyramid Song by Radiohead is one of them.

Oh & hurt (the Johnny Cash version) Makes me cry every single time I hear it. Brilliant.

There are plenty of songs I never get sick of, but there are a few that I have listened to on a repeat type thing and still listen to after I stopped listening to it that way. Those songs include the following:

Frontier psychiatrist - The Avalanches
Phonebooth - Primitive radio gods
Last stop: This town - Eels
Ladies and Gentlemen we are floating in space - Spiritualized

That's about it at the moment. Of course these are some of my favorite songs.

Good call actually. That first drop after "I'm gonna fly on down then fly away" never gets old.

Whenever I do that I usually end up hating the songs in a few days, but I've had Frontier Psychiatrist on repeat non-stop for a few months now and I still love it!
