This is a singularly romantic record, one that has a beautiful dislocation effect. It makes me feel like I am someone else an somewhere else with someone I love. It has a beautiful sense of adventure and mystery tied in too. Truly some parts of this album are pure magic and like nothing else I have heard.

The opener "Concierto De Aranjuez" is mind blowing the way it slowly builds up.

The real stand outs though for me are the closers "Saeta" and "Solea". The way those tracks slowly incorporate more and more texture, and especially how on, I believe, "Saeta" the drums come in and Miles goes just all emotional and powerful with his horn is downright sublime.

This. Maybe Davis & Evans' best work, and "Saeta" is sublime.

Absolutely. I'm re listening now and actually it was "Solea" I was remembering that absolutely takes my breathe away. That point 2 minutes in when the drum and bass roll in and the dramatic, super powerful trumpet really starts up makes me feel like I'm in some sort of heavenly state.

" Saeta" is also incredible.

And yeah this is my fave Miles and Evans work as well.

My friend loves this record. Lots of memories where I've gotten too drunk at his house with stuff like this in the background. Love it

This is a stunning record. Definitely one of my favourites. Great to listen to outside on hot summer nights.
