Remember when Killing In The Name reached number one in 2009? Well, because the X-Factor winners song will be going for Christmas number one after a two year absence, a new campaign has begun to get Highway to Hell to number one. After two days they're already on 65,000 likes.

Now I for one would love to see this happen again. The triumph of actual music over regurgitated X-Factor garbage would be pleasant to see.

Y'know, AC/DC isn't that much better than X-Factor.

Well, they actually wrote their own music. Therefore, they're infinitely better.

I think it's great when older songs find their way back onto the Billboards or other charts. There was a They Might Be Giants song, "Birdhouse in Your Soul," released in 1990 that made it onto the UK singles chart a few years ago. I don't mind X-Factor music, but an AC/DC track would make a great Christmas number one.

If it wasn't AC/DC, I might have said yes to this. I really missed the 'bogan rock' ship when I was younger.

I love the way on Wikipedia there's a whole page dedicated to this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Controvers...actor_(UK)

I think something like Marquee Moon or a Velvet Underground song should be number 1.
