Definitely one of the best of the Dead's studio albums (it's either this or Workingman's Dead).

That being said, it pales in comparison to some of their live albums.

Simply put, it changed my life. "Box of Rain" and "Candyman" are two of the greatest songs I have ever heard.

They have couple of better records and a masterpiece live album that is Live / Dead. Still like this one though.

Not quite as good as Workingman's Dead, but it is still a fantastic album. I love every song.
