People view it as disappointing; fans see it as betrayal; I see it as constant growth in Arctic Monkeys' style and approach to music. There are some very interesting moments on this album due to the progressions. Cornerstone is one of my favourite Arctic Monkeys songs and this album is my second favourite out of their discography.

It's my least favourite Arctic Monkeys album, but it's still pretty good.

Yes it's true. Still, it's my least favourite AM album. It's not bad, I just don't really enjoy listening to it.
Cornerstone is also one of my favourite AM songs, though.

Underrated, but no lost masterpiece. The atmosphere has an engaging sense of coming doom, but this only scratched the surface of the potential wreckage an Arctic Monkeys-Josh Homme pairing could've accomplished.

Underrated, It's an amazing album ! The production is great and the writing is really good. I'm this close to say it's their best but every time they release a record I'm amazed ! One of my all time favourite !
I love this record ! God it's good !

It's pretty cool, and it's held up better than Favourite Worst Nightmare. But, like most Arctic Monkeys stuff, I can take it or leave it.

For a band so often cited as "overrated" this album is criminally underrated. I truly believe this is an unappreciated masterpiece. Lyrically sublime, not a word out of place, the finest production you'll ever hear and is getting better with age. My favourite album of all time.

It makes me very happy to come across another person who shares my enthusiasm for this album.
