This late Milestone album is surprisingly good, enough so that producer Orrin Keepnews reissued it in his Keepnews Collection CD line. Accessible modal jazz. The front line consists of two inside-outside saxophonists, Joe Ford and George Adams (who was in Mingus' best 70s groups) and violinist John Blake.
