This is a witty album. Despite being entirely instrumental, it sings of clever phrases and worthy bon mots. There are moments of tenderness, moments of inspiration and moments of silliness, but the overarching conception is one of detail. And the details are very good. There aren't many folk albums I would recommend whether you're a fan of the genre or not, but this is one of them.
Best tracks: Bluesvals, Högersvajpen, Fri I Gaspesie, 34an.
