Japanese sisters, Saori and Rie, are joined by two of their friends, Nico and Ikue, to form the Japanese girl-group The Suzan. As a girl group one would expect the music to be energetic and exhuberant - and it is. But there is fine musicianship to be heard here as well. A funky bass, keyboard flourishes and enough punky guitar to rawk on the 13 tracks found on the group's third full length album, released in 2010 on Downtown Music/Fools Gold Records (Cat#: DWT70202) Authenticaated on discogs.com.
