Overall: 8.9/10

Top Tracks: "Blitzkrieg Bop", "Beat on the Brat", "I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend"

Pure, idiotic, brilliant, short, fast, catchy, dangerous rock n roll like nobody ever played it (and ever will).

Less is more... less can also be safe sometimes. I don’t care how edgy their lyrics are, this album is PC. It doesn’t take risks.

Punk pioneers? Maybe if Raw Power didn’t exist.

I have to agree that the songs all sound exactly the same. This leads to a listening experience that feels longer than the album's half hour run time. The Ramones have a great sound, and a great song, the trouble is that there is only one song and one sound for the entire album.

I thought this would feel more familiar than it actually did. A solid listen.

This is what they call seminal, a fantastic blast of noise and now with extra tracks, from the opening bars of Blitzkrieg Bop this LP does not let up - one of the best albums of all time (IMHO of course!)

Spawned a new genre. Even some of the bands that are called 'the best ever' on BEA can't say that they've created a genre. Do I love this album and think it's perfect? No. Does it deserve much higher rating than 80? Yes
