Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some artists can have several thousand ratings)
This artist has a Bayesian average rating of 63.7/100, a mean average of 61.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 61.2/100. The standard deviation for this artist is 23.7.

Dreadfully noisy glam metal devoid of any musically redeeming qualities.
A good, fun band. They aren't great musicians by any stretch but the songs are fun and they rock hard.
No one said rock had to be complicated. Straight forward sleazy rock. I enjoyed their first two albums the best but have many great singles after that. They took what Kiss did and made it darker and dangerous. They still put on a great concert.
Everything that was wrong with rock in the 80s.
No thanks
It's too bad they're known today for Tommy Lee's junk and stupid reality TV escapades. I put the m on par with Poison - good fun from the 80s. Catchy, and they could actually play. Shallow music from a shallow era.
I miss this old-school rock n' roll!
This was the one they made with John Corabi in place of Vince Neil. It doesn't really sound like a Crue album so it gets criticized, but in fact it isn't a bad listen at all.
