Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some artists can have several thousand ratings)
This artist has a Bayesian average rating of 47.7/100, a mean average of 41.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 41.1/100. The standard deviation for this artist is 30.0.

I prefer Kanye West.... and I can't stand Kanye either lol. I just dont get what's so appealing I guess...
Lil Wayne is one of the best rappers out there, and the Carter Trilogy proves that. He had released a mix-tape called SQ7, which contains the epic 35 min rap 10,000 Bars, and it's alone a standout in the whole history of rap music.
Lil Wayne sucks
Lil' Wayne is far too hated on by pretentious music elitists. His late thousands run was one of the best in music; he was releasing a new mixtape packed with hard-hitting rhymes and clever punchlines every month, and some of his work (such as Da Drought 3 and Tha Carter III) stands as some of the best in rap music, although the quality of his output has significantly dropped in the last half-decade. Just listen to him with an open mind and try to get something out of it because you'll be much happier if you're not shutting yourself out from quality music through elitism. His music makes you want to work hard to be the greatest, while making you laugh all the while.
Absolute rubbish.
Lil Wayne had potential. I wouldn't say that anymore.
