Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).

Really like seeing the Strokes love on your chart. Also really like the After Hours placement as it is easily his best album for me. Nice chart!
With 25% of valuable greatest 100 chart space dedicated to just 6 artists and 72% to one country (USA), you certainly know what you like and wear it proudly....which I respect.
If I were to cast a critical eye over your chart, I would suggest sharing the love of music more broadly (across artists & nationalities).

I really like your chart. Has some great high-ranking albums but it's also very unique to your own personal tastes. These are the charts I love seeing.

This is pretty similar to my chart if we switched the Strokes and Muse. I dig it, good variety, unique, and clearly you stick to your guns with the Strokes and Casablancas' other projects.
I will never understand what the Strokes do differently from other bands that makes everyone like them *this* much, especially over similar acts. Still a solid group though, solid chart.
