Absolutely awesome I'm always glad to see someone who isn't afraid of mainstream music. So many people here are absolutely terrified of it. Not me. Heh heh

Tam, this is classy stuff. You're one of the only people on this site who gives fair and proper recognition to soul/r 'n' b/funk acts, and to some of the great female voices. I'm guessing from the picks you might have lived through this year, for my money it was one of the very best - every genre produced classics - the radio was great, "Top Of The Pops" was great, live shows were cheap, and the album still meant something.
