There's not anything here that I don't like to some extent, I pretty much think all these albums are great in different ways. At the same time it's only a reranked version of this site's top 100 albums, which means that bottom albums are albums I would never have included in my own overall top 100. Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).

I had a laugh at the comments and your occasional interjection to put them right on what this chart actually is!
I like most of the albums but smiled when I noted that most of your later albums would feature at the start of my chart if I did something similar.

Nice idea, although the result looks kind of silly to me. So, you do not like Joy Division. Which is okay, of course. Your loss. Taste is a funny thing. I would like to do a Top 30 of the Top 100 that don’t belong among the Top 1000. - Also, with a list like this the most popular records get even higher ranked, which is bad, I think.
