Top 100 Greatest Music Albums by Antonio-Pedro

"God gave us music so that we, first and foremost, will be guided upward by it. All qualities are united in music: it can lift us up, it can be capricious, it can cheer us up and delight us, nay, with its soft, melancholy tunes, it can even break the resistance of the toughest character. Its main purpose, however, is to lead our thoughts upward, so that it elevates us, even deeply moves us. ... Music also provides pleasant entertainment and saves everyone who is interested in it from boredom. All humans who despise it should be considered mindless, animal-like creatures. Ever be this most glorious gift of God my companion on my life's journey, and I can consider myself fortunate to have come to love it. Let us sing out in eternal praise to God who is offering us this beautiful enjoyment.

- Nietzsche in 1858

This chart needs some work to blossom away, still need to end some notes from my diary, men at work in progress.

Love you all, Antonio Momonio <3

When Analyzing the subject on Good Kid, M.A.A.D City, I find myself quite lost, not because I'm not sure if this is a concept album or not, of course I know that Kendrick is surely the main character of the story, but based in the happening over here, it's so spread (in the chronological meaning) that it's hard to pin a dtermined time to this record, and mainly to understand how this kid has grown up, if it is already a man, maybe only a little child. As always I got late to this record, probably the last Kendrick record that I've heard, And most of this was because I didn't really wanted to get in the hype train that this album is included, Didn't want to get in the dick-riding station and rate it all 100/100, of course kendrick is really talented man that, no only managed to appeal the critic and the mainstream audience, but also maintained his quality level while developing his career something which I appreciate a lot on him (at least until now may 2017, check this in 20 years antonio). Studying this record I found myself in my old dilemma lyrics or music? how much impact Would I ( a non-native english speaker) have lost if I have let the lyrics aside and focused on the musical part of this record? Absolutely a ton of the experience it contains. It is fucking brutal, kendrick would only get this far on TPAB next, but here he doesn't really care about things in his way, like a m-25 tank, he goes over all the barriers place on front of him and goes further, although this doesn't mean that doesn't bloom moments of pure poetry like the flower in the dark room verse. To be honest with you I was never a big rap fan, since I was young I used to think that the repetition of the melody over some man spilling lyrics unto the listener was nothing special, quite boring to be more precise, all of this changed when I grow up and began to realize things aren't just so simple as they seem to be to the more simpler listener's eyes, not only kendrick manages to tell his story, his fragmented tales about growing up in a wild world, but also develops a fantastic instrumentation throughout the album, jazz is side by side with heavy beats, like a golem planting flowers, which gives this sweet touch to songs like "Bitch don't kill my vibe" or "Swimming Pools (Drank)" [my personal favorite of the record], he managed not only to tie these many genres unto the rap influence but also used it to be the landscape to his tales, believe the hype, kids. Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)

This chart is rated in the top 1% of all charts on BestEverAlbums.com. This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 92.9/100, a mean average of 93.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 93.3/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 7.8.

Very nice. I like the added info under each choice as well. Explanations and information referring to the choice and the reason picked helps the reader a lot. I've done a few, buy not all. Very sad that that the number one album, "Eureka," can't be found in most places, or anywhere else to purchase or listen, except on youtube.
