Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)

This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 51.4/100, a mean average of 32.5/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 31.2/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 26.5.

It´s just another overrated artists list with bad includes and no eyes to the good music

i'm never going to listen to most of these albums, but at least it's not a list of the same five or six 2011 picks you see across every single top chart by a major music publication

i don't think it is a good idea to include an annual chart in list of official charts.
why this chart has be chosen and not others annual charts?
why attribute 100 points to the first album of this chart?
i agree with attribution of 100 points to official decade charts, and 200 points to official all-time charts, but not for annual charts.
