Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)

This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 86.0/100, a mean average of 84.4/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 86.1/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 12.4.

This is pretty interesting. Don't know many albums here, but those I do are fantastic. UFO are so underrated, and Vol 4. in the top 10 is a pleasant surprise.

Tom Lehrer in your chart is fantastic! What a performer in his heyday! Marty Robbins, Carpenters too. I love it. I'm waiting for your peersonal comments to your albums, though!
Great variety and many acts I haven't noticed before.

I haven't heard some of your top 10 before. I'm currently listening to Television Personalities and I love it! Also love that you have The Carpenters on your chart!

@benpaco - Ice Age and Walked In Line are two of my favorite Joy Division songs, not on their other JD albums that I'm aware of. I've never heard the Warsaw album "Warsaw" but conceivably I could replace Still with that; I'll give it a listen.

Huh, why do you have JD's Still instead of a studio album or a live album? If I may ask?

Like what I know but don't know enough to rate it.

I agree with a lot of the above, only gave 80as am reserving judgment until I have fully explored your choices.
Confident though it will be an interesting listen. I was stoked by someone having Marty Robbins as one of their all time albums. It's one of my guilty pleasure. Cheers for sharing a good list.
