We have ZERO albums & ZERO artists in common - I love that!
I came here because I admire Songs From Suicide Bridge - although not in my top 100 (obviously).
Just been on a journey through the albums in your top 100 ~ found nothing that "I LOVED" but enjoyed the adventure nonetheless.
I can understand where you are coming from and respect your tastes in music and the honesty in your selections.
BTW - if you are interested I recently added 2 albums by The Drovers (aka Kauffman & Caboor) - worth a listen.

I'm returning to give you a 100 because I agree with your statement about box sets/comps. AND THIS MUSIC IS JUST SO GODAMM COOL. Just like everything else in this world, we don't have to have identical tastes to appreciate any other's love for music.

Speaking of comps and boxsets, I think I forgot to add the Velvet Underground’s Complete Matrix Tapes. Awesome way to rediscover their songs.

Some of the releases on this chart wouldn’t make sense without the compilation (Autechre’s NTS Sessions, The Caretaker’s EATEOT), or wouldn’t be able to showcase the best non album takes (Airiel’s Winks & Kisses, Slowdive’s Blue Day).

But yeah sometimes you just can’t choose the best album when everything is awesome (Joy Division).

Even without notes and with a lot of focus upon recent decades, this is a really good chart. Messiaen (his solo piano works are my favourite classical compositions bar none), Can, Talk Talk, Godspeed You Black Emperor, Slint, Mercury Rev, The Feelies, This Heat, Young Marble Giants, Dirty Three make for a particularly impressive chart.

I might make a few suggestions if I be allowed:

— Amon Düül II: ‘Yeti’
— Art Bears: any of their albums
— Art Zoyd: any album up to 1983
— Band of Susans: ‘Love Agenda’
— Pierrot Lunaire: ‘Gudrun’
— Sky Cries Mary: ‘A Return to the Inner Experience’, ‘This Timeless Turning’, ‘Moonbathing on Sleeping Leaves’
— Van der Graaf Generator: ‘H to He Who Am the Only One’, ‘Pawn Hearts’
