Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)
This chart is rated in the top 3% of all charts on BestEverAlbums.com. This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 89.6/100, a mean average of 89.6/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 90.1/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 9.7.

A good mix of stuff I don't like very much with others that I really love.
A lot in common between us. I've never really listened to Modest Mouse, but I'm going to now.
Great chart! I just don’t know why people are so fond of Igor, average album IMO
Wow, this chart is so similar to a very close friend of mine's, that's awesome!
15 artists and 10 albums in common?!!?! Would love to see some words describing thoughts around these classy records. Check out my chart =)
Lots of indie classics; in fact almost all indie classics. I notice Daniel Johnston is the only man who sits outside of the BEA top 1000 (who isn't a new release). I like your taste I really do but I'd love to see some more of your own personality come through, maybe with the addition of some notes? Nice chart though keep it up!
I've already commented here but coming back to say this has to be my favorite chart on this site. I *love* every album in the top 10, and have 42 in common overall, despite not having any Brockhampton on my chart or The Holy Bible, both of which I adore. We could probably have 60 in common if I rearranged my chart.
It's funny to see Daniel Johnston and Kanye right next to each other in the top ten, considering how they are nearly exact opposites
Lots of cool stuff here, awesome chart.
I love the variety on this chart
