This is my first chart, and I chose a simple theme (My 100 Favorite Albums). I am a big fan of alt-rock (specifically albums in the garage rock revival, piano rock, and psychadelic rock subgenres), classic rock, jazz, and a fan of some pop and rap (if there are good narratives or good tongue-in-cheek lyricism). Hit me up if you have a good album recommendation within those genres that aren't already on here. Thanks!

Ben Folds is my favorite artist of all-time. He puts pure emotion into storytelling songs and beautiful piano melodies. He may not be as well-known or as catchy as Elton John or Billy Joel, but he's just as talented, if not, more talented at tickling ivories.

From a production standpoint, this album is perfect! From a lyrical standpoint, it's near-perfect! You can tell Kanye put serious work and effort into not only the production, but the songwriting! He always gets great guest performances and this album is no exception with great usage of Rihanna, Pusha T, and even Nicki Minaj. MBDTF reminds me of how The Beach Boys jumped from Surfing Safari to Pet Sounds with so much added color and flavor.

A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. Solid chart though maybe a little heavy on the recent decades. That and I'm not a big fan of some of your most represented artists: Arctic Monkeys, 21 Pilots, etc. it seems we really like some of the same genres though your preference may be for the rawer sound (Arctic Monkeys, Walkmen, Shins, Strokes) while I tend to go for the overproduced sound (Muse).
Love to see Ben Folds so well represented. He's a genius and extremely talented; I hope that future generations will look back at him the way we look at Elton John or Billy Joel's music. I'm guessing you've probably seen him live already if he's your favorite artist, I'd highly recommend seeing him live with an orchestra next time he does a tour like that! Incredible stuff

I love your notes (thought they are all in the wrong place??), and your mix of records too. Would be great to see some more stuff from the older decades!!

Aaargh! You posted Blurryface before me!!! Though it only came out a few days ago, I haven't stopped listening to it! Definitely my favorite album already...and I've been listening to a lot of music in the last few years. You have a lot of The Strokes on your list, and I definitely agree that Room On Fire is better than Is This It. ROF has more refinement to it and isn't as fuzzy, though ITI is awesome! But go twenty one pilots!
