Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)
This chart is rated in the top 3% of all charts on BestEverAlbums.com. This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 89.7/100, a mean average of 90.7/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 90.7/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 5.2.

Love the variety. Love that The Cramps are in there even more.
This is a great chart mate! Hats off for choosing one per artist (something I can't do). Loved that you went for the less obvious ones (eg. Floyd's Meddle, U2 Zooropa, Radiohead Moon Shaped Pool, Pearl Jam Yield). Of course, stoked to see good representation of Aussie artists - esp Midnight Oil and INXS - two of my faves. Great mix of genres, crosses over well with my tastes - plenty more in here that are close to my top 100.
Good chart
cool list thanks for the 100 on my list
Good stuff. Physical Graffiti up high!
I don't think I've ever seen The The and Mazzy Star in a top 10 before. Which is great. They deserve to be in the top 10.
like it.
Nice chart
Certainly a unique chart, really nice mix of stuff. Still waiting tantalisingly on what you think of Low Side 1!!!
good chart and nice top 10!
