Top 78 Greatest Music Albums by willmaatealrii Unknown

Hello chart viewers, few disclaimers:

Yeah I realise this chart is incredibly repetitive, but it's also honest.
There are also a lot of fairly obvious picks, Bowie, Pink Floyd, Beatles etc, however there is also a decent amount of slightly less known and interesting picks to be had
Comments are in the works, I pinky promise.

Enjoy

Best David Bowie album bar none. I don't generally like Bowie that much, I gave him a really good chance a few years ago and just couldn't get on with much of his stuff, but this album was different. This album showed me what everyone was on about when they called him a great songwriter, a great singer and a great piano player. Two of those thing are definitely true and although I do agree he is a great singer, I'm not convinced that I always like the sound of his voice (that's more a problem for later Bowie stuff). This album has, for good reason been spoken of to death, I do feel that it overrated massively because of the slice of time it represents. Despite this, there is an undeniable charm to it. Its grunge, simple songs full of power chords, relatively repetitive yet emotive lyrics and standard drum beats, however, right place right time all of that works perfectly. One of the most effective genre-blurring albums there is. I listened to the first few seconds and was expecting to hear a rapper, however, no. Instead what I was greeted with this beautiful ethereal voice. An interesting listen this one, perhaps ever so slightly repetitive if you're being very picky, but overall extremely enjoyable.
