There are also a lot of fairly obvious picks, Bowie, Pink Floyd, Beatles etc, however there is also a decent amount of slightly less known and interesting picks to be had

How have so few people heard of these guys? I will admit that it really nothing new, and that the singing technically good but I tad uninteresting but my god this man can play guitar! If I didn't know the name of the band I was listening to I would think it was Jimmy Page (in a good way, not a Greta Van Fleet way). If you play guitar this is a must listen. Key tracks: 250 miles.

Possibly the saddest album of all time? Phil Everum, a bit of a hero of mine, matter of factly describes the everyday tragedy that has become his life. This album seems so real that you almost go through the stages of greif just listening to it. Muscially, it is a striped back lo fi classic, sounds like Phil may have recorded lying on the floor in his kitchen, guitar in hand.
