Top 78 Greatest Music Albums by willmaatealrii Unknown

Hello chart viewers, few disclaimers:

Yeah I realise this chart is incredibly repetitive, but it's also honest.
There are also a lot of fairly obvious picks, Bowie, Pink Floyd, Beatles etc, however there is also a decent amount of slightly less known and interesting picks to be had
Comments are in the works, I pinky promise.

Enjoy

Will there ever be another band like The Smiths? This is a perfect album. Morrissey croones his way through the album, making you laugh, cry and think in equal measure. Every word is in its perfect place. Marr alongside him, makes the a partnership better than bangers and mash. Rourke and Joyce who never get any credit are also completely flawless. This is the album that truly showed what the Chili's would one day become. Certainly it is not as good as later albums, there is too much distortion, the lyrics are not quite there yet, and it lacks the backing vocals that made albums like 'By the Way' so perfect. However, there is still a lot to love in the childish humour, obvious talent on display and raw feel to it. The cover of Stevie Wonder's 'Higher Ground' naturally takes the plaudits, but other highlights include the opener 'Good Time Boys', the anti drug anthem 'Knock Me Down' and the frankly pleasant 'Pretty Little Ditty'. Up there with the best debut albums of all time, shame it was pretty much downhill from there for the Roses. People slag this band off and I don't understand why, sure Axl is a nob and some of there songs are slighly similar, but a better 80s hard rock band are very hard to come by. Slash is phenomenal, Izzy and Duff compliement him and each other perfectly, Adler is just Adler and Axl can really wail. Axl Rose is so good that not even he can sing like he can most of the time. Key tracks: Night Train and Sweet Child o'Mine (obviously). [First added to this chart: 03/10/2017]

This is the album that set the standard for virtually all rap that came after it. Ever wandered why those shitty Dr Dre Beats are so expensive? It's partly because of this album. There is so much attitude on this album, and so many brilliant songs. The verses are delivered excellently and are full of hard hitting political statements etc. It is by no means a perfect rap album, there are certainly more consistent works of rap out there, but one must start from here. Best tracks: Fuk the Police, I Ain't the One, Express Yourself. [First added to this chart: 03/17/2017]
