It's very hard to pick your favorite albums, and it's even harder to put them in some consecutive order, so just consider this an incomplete list. It's also bound to change, because of new releases and other various factors. These are the albums that keep getting better the older I get, and make me want to come back for more.

Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. Except for the who , van halen and Aerosmith really - but I’ll give these a go now judging by the similarities !
Great chart - as you said it’s so hard to choose just 100 and then rank them as well - so good stuff

Got about 70 of these albums and another 20 on my Wishlist to get to later. I obviously like the chart with so much in common. I love to read comments and views on what the album is about and why you might like it - so you need to get round to the rest.
If I can recommend anything to you it would be Neutral Milk Hotel - In An Aeroplane Over The Sea and Bon Iver - For Emma, Forever - both Indie Rock/Folk kinda sound you might also like The Strokes who have a bit of the post punk revival with the Velvets and Lou Reed kick
