Top 100 Greatest Music Albums by quadrophenia17 (2018)

« View previous chartView next chart »

It's very hard to pick your favorite albums, and it's even harder to put them in some consecutive order, so just consider this an incomplete list. It's also bound to change, because of new releases and other various factors. These are the albums that keep getting better the older I get, and make me want to come back for more.

But enough rambling; here's my list. Enjoy!

Led Zeppelin IIUnited Kingdom Led Zeppelin
"You've been coolin', baby I've been droolin'"

Led Zeppelin II was the first Zeppelin album I ever owned, and it changed my perception of what music could be. This was the moment for me that made me into a Led Zeppelin fan.

Listening to "Whole Lotta Love," was like going through a wind-tunnel, while songs like "Heartbreaker" and "What Is And What Should Never Be" were like Jimmy Page making guitar riffs sound erotic and tantalizing. I can listen to "What Is And What Should Never Be", and imagine a woman strip-teasing to the song; it's that sexy!

I call this the "sexy" album cause each song provides something erotic and lovely: from raw guitar riffs in the first three songs, to sensitivity in "Thank You", it's the Led Zeppelin album I feel they had the most fun with.
