Most songs on Revolver have been favorites at one time or another. Currently, 'And Your Bird Can Sing', 'I Want To Tell You', 'Got To Get You Into My Life', and 'Tomorrow Never Knows are my faves. Well, 'Tomorrow Never Knows' has always been a favorite.

I don’t care if this album is a compilation of the of a 6-track movie soundtrack and five previously released singles. I still like it better than Sgt Pepper, which was released earlier in 1967. While Sgt Pepper may have been a cultural event, the songs haven’t aged as well as those on Magical Mystery Tour, at least to my ears. It doesn’t hurt that two of the singles included here are ‘Strawberry Fields Forever’, and ‘Penny Lane’, two of the Beatles’ best. The six soundtrack songs stand on their own though, with ‘Fool on the Hill’, ‘I Am The Walrus’ and the beautiful instrumental, ‘Flying’, being my current favorites. ‘Baby, You’re A Rich Man’, and ‘Flying’ are the most underrated tracks.
