Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)

This chart is rated in the top 3% of all charts on BestEverAlbums.com. This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 89.4/100, a mean average of 90.6/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 90.5/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 7.6.

Taking another look at this chart I noticed you rated the album covers, that's a fun idea. Was checking it out again because you have Aphex Twin as your picture so was expecting more of his stuff but that's not the case. Still a killer chart though.

Really nice mix of genres, and I especially like your picks from this decade (I'll have to check out that Rosalía record at no.4!), I look forward to seeing your writings on why these are your favourite genres. Seeing as you ask for recommendations (and you have so many from the current decade already) here's a few older picks that you might enjoy:

Nico - Chelsea Girl
Nick Drake - Pink Moon
Neil Young - Harvest
Brian Eno - Another Green World

Pretty great! Love the inclusion of so many recent albums, and the whole chart has much personality.
Also if you've enjoyed that Daughters album I'd recommend some classic noise and no wave albums like The Birthday Party's Junkyard, Swans' Soundtracks for the Blind, Sonic Youth's Evol etc.
