A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. Taking another look at this chart I noticed you rated the album covers, that's a fun idea. Was checking it out again because you have Aphex Twin as your picture so was expecting more of his stuff but that's not the case. Still a killer chart though.

Pretty great! Love the inclusion of so many recent albums, and the whole chart has much personality.
Also if you've enjoyed that Daughters album I'd recommend some classic noise and no wave albums like The Birthday Party's Junkyard, Swans' Soundtracks for the Blind, Sonic Youth's Evol etc.
