Sophisticated pop at its finest and a true 60's masterpiece. Excellent from start to finish. Even the instrumental interludes (Let's Go Away for a While and Pet Sounds) are enjoyable listens. Every song is amazing, but God Only Knows is the obvious standout. Maybe the most gorgeous song of all-time.

Favorite tracks: Wouldn't It Be Nice, Don't Talk (Put Your Head on My Shoulder), Sloop John B, God Only Knows (every song is amazing)

The Beatles "acid trip" album. Rubber Soul may have pushed them in the direction of experimental hippies, but Revolver is when they jumped off the diving board. Through all the noise, feedback, and head-spinning melodies, they were still the Beatles. And on Revolver, they were arguably at their peak.

I can't even fathom how talented this band was. A song like Taxman is an assault. It's jarring. Then you float into Eleanor Rigby, a string-heavy song both beautiful and sad. Then the band displays their newfound Middle-Eastern influence before Here, There and Everywhere qualifies as one of the prettiest ballads of all-time. The second half of the record is more rocking but this album has it all. For No One and And Your Bird Can Sing have to be some of the most underappreciated Beatles tunes.

Masterpiece from the mop tops just before they turned the music world upside down and released Sgt. Peppers.

Favorite tracks: Eleanor Rigby, Here, There and Everywhere, And Your Bird Can Sing, Got to Get You into My Life
