There was no way to go but down after their fourth studio album, but don't be fooled. This is still one of the greatest ever albums. There is only one significant weak song, and that is The Crunge. All other tracks are masterfully played, written and produced.

Arctic Monkeys decided not to be much worse at their second try on an album. Right from the start, we are hammered with the fast Brianstorm. Alex Turner still confuses us with tongue twisters, but still in a good way.

Not much of a team effort, but The Beatles are still fab as four individuals. Thirty songs, and still about 25 really great ones. Hard to pick one favourite, but thanks to the immaculate guitar playing from guest Eric Clapton and song writing from George Harrison, that choice is a little bit easier.

An often overlooked album in Pink Floyd's discography, but an important one. An "ordinary" first half before we are being hit with the wonderful, otherworldly Echoes. You won't spend 23 minutes much better than this.

A solo debut nothing short of impressive. Eight great and one perfect track. Maybe the greatest song ever written, by maybe the greatest vocalist and song writer of the 70s and 80s.

This album is just two instrumental 25+ minutes long tracks played (almost) solely by a 19 years old Mike Oldfield. The fact that Tubular Bells was one of the best-selling albums of the 70s says a lot of what an accomplishment this album is.

Nice chart! I don't know if you tried Gentle Giant, but based on your tastes, I think you might like it (Three Friends, Free Hand, Octopus, Gentle Giant). Also, have you heard "Time And A Word" from Yes? This album is crazy good!
