"When you're lost in the rain in Juarez when it's Easter time, too
And your gravity fails and negativity don't pull you through"

Turning point for "pop music". Simply a favorite of mine due to Dylan's lyricism, live sound, and legendary status. Pure class.

The first album I loved. Changed my life-and I mean it's The Beatles. Can't go wrong with this classic.

"You know where you are with
Floor collapsing, falling

Discovered Radiohead much later than I should've. This album is a decade defining classic-with bangers all throughout. For example, the stretch from "Paranoid Android" to "Karma Police".

"No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun."

Sonically beautiful. Hard hitting lyrics. I mean, a lot has been said about this album-and people still continue to discuss it. While, yes, Pink Floyd has "Wish You Were Here", "Animals", "The Wall", "Piper At The Gates Of Dawn", etc.- it makes DSOTM seem like a mediocre choice to be my favorite. But this album struck a chord with me unlike the other albums. They're all great but this album was my first love by them, and I still haven't lost the reason why I loved it so much. It truly is just a great album.

It's not hard to see why this is the "best Jazz album", that it is often titled. It's the album that certainly got me open to the genre and to dig deeper. Got me into a whole lot more Jazz.

"If I ventured in the slipstream
Between the viaducts of your dream
Where immobile steel rims crack

Unique, yet beautiful sound. I love Morrison's hard hitting, raw voice and the lyrics he sings.

"I went through all kinds of changes
Took a look at myself and said that's not me"

I listened to this album in a part of my life at which I already had listened to a lot of the greats you might see on this chart. I was listening to a lot of VU, Dylan, Talking Heads, you know... and this album's more bubblegum, poppier sort of sound didn't hit me as hard as it could've. But, I somehow kept running back into this album subconsciously- I couldn't stop thinking about it. After a few more listens, it truly grew on me. I started to love the harmonies, appreciate the more sad and moody lyrics, and off the wall instrumentals. The whole experience. It now is an album that has a place in my heart.

Where's the Greta Van Fleet man?? Greatest rock band of all time, hands down. You know, they said that early Queen sounded a lot like them. Truly an influential group of rock gods.

Cool chart! Some pretty eclectic choices. I'm surprised to see that you like Sister Ray so much! I like Here She Comes Now off that album, that would be in my top 3. Rock on!
