Ok I think I've fixed it, I added in a ton of albums that have come out in the last few years and I'm really happy with the way it looks currently

Energy, catchy melodies, Patrick's voice, variety, why would any rock enthusiasts not love this, this was the first FOB album I listened to in it's entirety, but I was not planning on liking it. I actually just wanted to listen to I don't Care because my Pep Band was playing it so I listened to it so I'd be able to play it better but then I just listened to the rest on accident, but I wasn't complaining. I had songs like Tiffany Blews, What a Catch and Disloyal Order Of Water Buffalo stuck in my head for months, I really had a sickness where I couldn't listen to anything but this album just because every part of it had infected my being.

A real culmination of what the group had done so far, it's catchy, heartbreaking, and all-around exhilarating.
Deja Entendu is fairly close for me in quality especially since it's more of a combination of their first record and this one but I really admire the darker direction that was taken with The Devil and God

This album was written in a solidary cabin and it shows, the loneliness that seeps through on this album is heartbreaking, and I love a good heartbreak, especially of the acoustic folk variety.

If I could I'd put every Billy Joel album right here, they're all really high quality, especially this one, 52nd street, and glass houses, so this will just count for all of those
Favorite track- My Life

I feel like this is Brockhampton's Flower Boy, "Woah these guys have feelings?" I love feelings, it's just about time they started showing a more sensitive side on their records. And it's just one of those albums where if I hear one song from it I'll just want to listen to the whole record.

The songs each tell a different story about violent acts, some fictional some not but the imagery and sounds are so vivid and abrasive that you can see it in front of you. The stand out for me, Enfilade, is about kidnapping and ransom and the chorus line "Sacrifice on railroad tracks, big freight train coming" being repeated over and over puts you right into the scene and you can feel the weight of the situation. Nearly every song acomplishes this on some level.

This album solidifies MGMT as one of the most interesting acts of the century. They've now delivered four albums that are all obviously MGMT but they change the sound enough to make it a new experience, this album especially is their most consistent yet with a very consistent theme and my favorite songs they've released to date. The first half has the songs that you'll probably remember the most, very radio-friendly catchy tunes that I love. After Me and Michael it starts to mellow out into a soundscape that blows me away. The second half won't be for everyone, but I think the first 5 tracks are some of the best tunes of the decade.

Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)

This chart is rated in the top 2% of all charts on BestEverAlbums.com. This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 91.2/100, a mean average of 92.8/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 92.8/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 6.1.

Igor Illinois Transatlanticism and Mercurial World in the top 10 is the way to go. MCR Neverind Weezer Jeff Buckley I like it. I'm not personally that big on the 1975 but I totally understand your reasoning. Good chart. Found this from Mag Bay btw.

I love this chart because it looks like the sort of chart my son would create ~ and despite the generation gap, we would still have ONE album in common - Jeff Buckley's "Grace".
Enjoyed the album comments.
Over the next few weeks I will venture off into some new music (for me) with this chart as my roadmap.
BTW - loved seeing 2 Aussie albums in the top 100!!

Interesting to see what an 18-year-old likes. The exuberant reviews are fun to read. I’ll probably listen to some of these that I had disregarded.

Love it. Clearly have your own taste in music but also clear you love music which is great! Much respect seeing our mutual love of Continuum! Also that Lianne La Havas album is indeed great! Have you ever listened to Lauryn Hill’s The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill? If not, highly recommended! Anyway, glad to see this and I hope to see you around the forums if you ever feel so inclined.
