Such a cool sound with this record, the vocals are so diverse but they all fit together from slower songs like The World at Large or more angst-driven tunes like Bury me With it, the variety is really the stand out on this record here, definitely a unique sound that is more than worth checking out. Reminds me of a trip I took through Montana and anytime I hear a cut off of this I just imagine the thick forests surrounding the road.

I have an almost never-ending love for J-Rock that stems from a love for anime as a young child. With Naruto and Fullmetal Alchemist being my favorites (I've also recently watched Erased which features Re:Re) I was exposed to a lot of AKG and they're easily the most solid band to come from Japan. They claim a lot influence from Weezer and other 90's alternative bands which puts these guys right up my alley. This album is definitely their strongest as a whole but my favorite song of theirs Sore Dewa Mata Ashita (or So Then, See You Again Tomorrow) isn't featured here so give that one a listen for sure. They also did a 2016 re recording of this album which is very cool

The 2000s was flooded with pop-punk type sounds, I believe it was pretty lacking in traditional rock and roll, and this album right here is exactly what I needed with a rock album that still had a 2000's flavor to it

Igor Illinois Transatlanticism and Mercurial World in the top 10 is the way to go. MCR Neverind Weezer Jeff Buckley I like it. I'm not personally that big on the 1975 but I totally understand your reasoning. Good chart. Found this from Mag Bay btw.

I love this chart because it looks like the sort of chart my son would create ~ and despite the generation gap, we would still have ONE album in common - Jeff Buckley's "Grace".
Enjoyed the album comments.
Over the next few weeks I will venture off into some new music (for me) with this chart as my roadmap.
BTW - loved seeing 2 Aussie albums in the top 100!!

Love it. Clearly have your own taste in music but also clear you love music which is great! Much respect seeing our mutual love of Continuum! Also that Lianne La Havas album is indeed great! Have you ever listened to Lauryn Hill’s The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill? If not, highly recommended! Anyway, glad to see this and I hope to see you around the forums if you ever feel so inclined.
