Ok I think I've fixed it, I added in a ton of albums that have come out in the last few years and I'm really happy with the way it looks currently

This is how you tell a story through music, each song stands on its own as a short story but put together tell a tale of death and sickness that gets me emotional every single time. Actually I'm pretty sure that this album houses the best song of all time in Famous Last Words. That song perfectly encapsulates what every song on this album has to some degree. A message of hope through grief accompanied by one melodic gem after the next
Three Cheers is also so very close in my heart and 50 percent of the time I prefer it

Similar to what ILIWYS was for my high school years, Nevermind was that for my middle school years. I mean I also listened to it a ton in high school but my memories are primarily attached to 7th and 8th grade. Like I'm sure most people can relate, life became complicated in middle school for me. To put it simply I was upset more than I ever had been and I needed an outlet. This album was my outlet. Pure, confused, raw emotion front to back. This album is also the primary reason I picked up the guitar, and I am currently getting a degree in guitar performance. So this album quite literally changed the course of my life. Also In Utero is a REALLY REALLY REALLY close second, and 50 percent of the time I prefer it

I feel like I knew this album in another life or something because first time I heard Say it ain't so and Buddy Holly I was just like "yeah that's weezer". Weird feeling man but It's true, this album is me. I have always been the blue album (I haven't always been Pinkerton but man I became Pinkerton when I got to high school for sure)

The summer I discovered this album was an unforgettable time, I was working with my best friends during the day and then we'd get together and just listen to new albums, this was unanimously our favorite we discovered all that summer. We would all sing and quote the album almost constantly and hearing any of these songs make me think of my buddy's beat-up car that we'd jam out in.

This album has been a part of my life for about 5 years at this point and I've been taking it for granted the whole time. This was one of the first records that my brother bought after he got his record player and I for some reason just didn't want to be into what my brother was. He'd play Grace pretty frequently and I really liked it. But for a long time, I never listened to the thing in its entirety of my own free will but I've had mojo pin, Halelujia, and Grace in rotation on tons of playlists. Recently however something just clicked with me and now I can't get enough of the genius on this record. So much mood accompanied by haunting guitar sounds and Jeff's beautiful vocals. It's stunning front to back. Also, I've been sucked into the rest of his posthumous releases. Especially The Sky Is a Landfill and his cover of The Smith's I Know It's Over, the ladder of the two actually got me to realize how much I love Jeff's work.

I love this duo so much. They take songwriting to a fun and carefree level that is unrivaled. Hysterical Us, You Lose, Secrets easily could cary the album by themselves but the whole album is a great work of cohesion and variety. here are some serious understated but effective emotional moments as well on Chaeri and Follow The Leader. ALSO I went to see one of their shows and they freaking stayed after to sign stuff and take pictures. They were two of the humblest and nicest people I've ever met and I just have a huge respect for them.

This is one of those albums that you just never saw coming, there's a real art put forth on this LP that wasn't there on past Blink records. As much as I love Enema and TOYPAJ, they were mostly singles collections, this one though has so much passion behind it, this was a result of Tom Delonge wanting to experiment and break out of what he'd been doing for over 10 years and it's such a great listen.
This album's follow up, Neighborhoods, is nearly as good for the same reasons.

Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)

This chart is rated in the top 2% of all charts on BestEverAlbums.com. This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 91.2/100, a mean average of 92.8/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 92.8/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 6.1.

Igor Illinois Transatlanticism and Mercurial World in the top 10 is the way to go. MCR Neverind Weezer Jeff Buckley I like it. I'm not personally that big on the 1975 but I totally understand your reasoning. Good chart. Found this from Mag Bay btw.

I love this chart because it looks like the sort of chart my son would create ~ and despite the generation gap, we would still have ONE album in common - Jeff Buckley's "Grace".
Enjoyed the album comments.
Over the next few weeks I will venture off into some new music (for me) with this chart as my roadmap.
BTW - loved seeing 2 Aussie albums in the top 100!!

Interesting to see what an 18-year-old likes. The exuberant reviews are fun to read. I’ll probably listen to some of these that I had disregarded.

Love it. Clearly have your own taste in music but also clear you love music which is great! Much respect seeing our mutual love of Continuum! Also that Lianne La Havas album is indeed great! Have you ever listened to Lauryn Hill’s The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill? If not, highly recommended! Anyway, glad to see this and I hope to see you around the forums if you ever feel so inclined.
