Trance, techno
I need more albums like this. trance, techno, ambient, and house are all genres that I've been trying to get more acquainted with, and this is exactly the album I was looking for. it's so entrancing, and it's so minimal but the songs still keep my interest for their entire running times, even if they're 10 minutes long ("The Deal").
honestly pretty much every song on here has a part that I really enjoy. on "A Paw in my Face" it's when that little guitar lick comes in after that intro. on "Everyday" it's when the drop comes out of nowhere and makes a great song into a fantastic one. on the title track it's the final two minutes, of just completely deconstructing the sampled song into a horrifying, trippy ending sequence. so I'll admit that I really only love the first half of this album. the second half is good too, but those first three songs are so unlike anything I've ever heard and create such a dreamy and psychedelic mood that I just find myself returning to them over and over.
