This one needs some work! For now, consider it the 36 best records of the 2010s in no particular order.
On a personal note, these are essentially the records that have soundtracked the last 10 years of my life or so. As such, they're pretty darn important to me.
It's also quite tough to choose records from the last few years; I've spent most of my time on this site adding records because of their significance to me, and that takes a while to build sometimes. In essence, the older the record, the more firm its position.

A true musical middle finger to listeners who wanted something safe. A tough sell if you were expecting the 'typical' Arctic Monkeys album, and some would almost certainly ask if this isn't just a new Last Shadow Puppets record. But how far this band have come; I detested Tranquility Base the first time I listened to it, and yet here I am seemingly unable to shake Star Treatment being on repeat.
