Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)
This chart is rated in the top 2% of all charts on BestEverAlbums.com. This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 91.1/100, a mean average of 92.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 93.4/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 7.6.

Really nice chart
Insane list
I dig it! Perhaps in a year it'll be even better. I've tried to limit my chart to one album per artist, it's tough but I'm able to share more of my favorite artists. 23 artists in common, nice.
Pink Floyd's top 3 in your top 10, nice.
Great Chart! I love the Prog heaviness with some other classic Rock, Hip Hop and Jazz choices sprinkled on top.
Somewhat predictable rock choices, but I'm not complaining by any means cause I love most of this stuff. I really like Mike Oldfield, though I've never been such a huge fan of Tubular Bells. I also like Houses of the Holy the most from Led Zeppelin. I think the albums LZIII-Physical Graffiti showcased their creative peak.
I really enjoy your comments and would love to see more of those as your chart evolves. Also happy to see Arcade Fire's Funeral getting some love here alongside some established seventies classics.
I loved your honesty and carelessness with the picks. I can really see that these are the records you really love! I like that there's writing, but it could be even more personal. Right now a lot of it could be boiled down to "I like this because it's great". Give me more of what you showed in The Wall or the Maroon 5 choice, love that shit!
Here's a few obscure-like recommendations to stir things up a bit:
Vision Creation Newsun by Boredoms (a bananas experimental rock record)
Future Days or Ege Bamyasi by Can (krautrock)
Octopus by Gentle Giant (medieval prog)
I'm excited for what's more to come!
great chart
Great chart, 21 of these are in my top 100.
