Not a huge Beatles fan, but SGT Peppers is one of the most important albums ever, and it's only at 51. Also Meet the Beatles has no place here. Nirvana not in the top 30, which is also questionable. No hard rock albums except punk and Nirvana. Metal and progressive rock are obviously not music to you. Also what's that with no 00s albums, of course 21st century is miles away from 70s but still... Also only 1 Pink Floyd album? Really? Still actually the best "best of" list by any major magazine, including Rolling Stone (although it's close battle)

Please the readers with Nirvana and REM, but still no Radiohead among the top 30 - great! But is "Automatic for the people" truely a bigger efort than "Hounds of love"?

This list was my bible. I must have been about 14 or 15 when MOJO released this issue and it immediately became a point of reference to me, leading me to discover lots of great albums.

Admittedly, it has some odd choices (Steely Dan at 13, no Dark Side Of The Moon, et al), but for my money it's still one of the better 100-greatest-albums-lists out there, especially compared to the downright batshit insane ones Q magazine or NME have brought out over the years.

Regarding the 60s/70s-bias, anyone who ever read a single page from MOJO magazine will know to expect nothing else.

This is not as bad a chart as most magazine charts, with quite a few well though-out selections. I do accept without grudges that many artists whom I do not “get” but are critical favourites are included, but there are relatively few avoidable selections and a few wonderful surprises, most notably the masterful ‘Miss America’.

Weird to see they only chose three 90's albums in 1995. Did they not apreciate albums like ten or definitely maybe?
