Top 100 Greatest Music Albums by rnanderson8

List of albums I consider to be the greatest. This should exemplify my music taste and hopefully anyone reading this finds something new to listen to. Constantly updating and adding new albums. You'll find a mix of indie, hip-hop/rap, post-rock, emo, shoegaze, and what you'd hopefully consider classics. Completely and utterly subjective. Enjoy!

Songs w/ (*) are considered some of my greatest tracks of all time.

Damn this thing is good, it's poppy, it's funky, it's dancy, it's hectic, it's beautiful. The electronic effects and background noise is just as important as Higg's hard-hitting lyrics. All the songs are so unique and have dirty breakdowns, crazy solos; each member is almost too good at their respective instruments. Absolutly wild. 100

Best Track(s): To The Blade, Get To Heaven, The Wheel (Is Turning Now)*, Zero Pharoah, No Reptiles, Warm Healer

Worst Track: Future 500

GKMC's non-linear story about innocence and the harsh realities of gang life in Compton is brilliantly told through Kendrick's story of a night out with the homies. Why is this better than TPAB? because every song except for Real and Sing About Me, are bangers. The production is impeccable and the fusion of contemporary and 90s rap style is done so well on this record. I ain't trippin' off no damn dominoes no mo'. 100

Innovative and Compelling. The album is still perfect just like the previous album before it, in a number of different ways, and many that are the same. Where TPAB falls short to GKMC is mostly in it's third act. The first and second act perfectly demonstrate the jazz oriented beats with perfect features and a number of catch hooks and captivating story-telling. For me, the content and lyricism in the third act is much less meaningful. Regardless the concept, poem, jazz-fusion, bars, are all levels above the artistry behind most other hip-hop/rap projects of this decade. 100

Best Track(s): Wesley's Theory, For Free? - Interlude, King Kunta, Institutionalized, These Walls*, How Much A Dollar Cost

Worst Track: You Ain't Gotta Lie (Momma Said)
