Top 100 Greatest Music Albums by Spyglass
My chart is ordered from best to worst. These albums I have chosen are albums that go above and beyond the boundaries of music, and have brilliance to share in whatever forms they take. All of the albums I've chosen are very special to me in one way or another, even if they're outside of my comfort zone, because a comfort zone doesn't matter when you're trying to comprehend all forms of music.
I've added little stories that describe my feelings when listening to each album. They're quite odd, but I love a little odd now and then.

"I could be a friend to the whole world if I wanted. I could be a friend to all the little boys and girls, the guys at the pub, the ladies at the beach... but the world doesn't want that, so I'll strum along with my own love and have a chat with my old friend, Sloop John B. We could talk about the social and political advancements in relationships with chicks, the unimportance of marijuana and its brothers, and the joy of rambling on as a tool for maintaining focus. As the bells jingle and the horns honk, we find a new meaning to life and a musical outlook on siblinghood. And to all that, I say, Yes. It would be nice." [First added to this chart: 04/03/2020]

"Do not tell me the intangible can't be broken. We have broken the sound barrier by tormenting our instruments to the point of no return to sanity. All they can play now is our distress. We have broken the thoughts and wills of people by the whips in our hands and the heels of our boots. We break hearts, and we break apart truths to twist them into our lies. And so, why can we not break the boundaries of music?" [First added to this chart: 04/04/2020]

"This next film I will direct will focus on a very controversial topic: philosophical intercourse. Imagine the man who makes love to his guitar, and imagine the woman who makes love to her drugs. Bring them together and film it. With my direction, you have something as pure as gold, as well as something more controversial than pornography but not as vulgar. You have an epic poem played like a rock album, a story of love, life and loss as well as death, drugs and damsels in distress. Come play with Jimi. Come play with Dr. Feelgood, because philosophical intercourse is not a belief, or a sin. It's a musical style. And when you've perfected it, you've won my respect." "So, were you guys always this drugged up? Because I jumped as high in the sky as I could, and couldn't find a woman named Lucy. Though I think I have an idea of what's going on in your tiny little minds, because I did see a lot of things that nearly killed me. It's a shame I cleaned myself up, because I'd like to meet them again for a cup of tea. But if you want to brave the journey to a knock-off of Heaven to see these odd sites again, tell me about it." "No ticket required. All you have to do is shoot a man in Reno, and record him dying with a camera. Play me the video, and I'll judge how much masculinity you had when you killed the man. It helps if this was the manner in which you decided to divorce your 'wife.' Play me the video, then I'll show you what a real cowboy is like." [First added to this chart: 04/04/2020]

"It might be possible to be yourself a bit too much. But at the same time, that can be a real charm to people. Take it from me: when you're way too much yourself, you can scare away half the women on earth, and get laid with the other half." [First added to this chart: 04/03/2020]

"I think there's a real virtue in being cute. Letting all those cuddly thoughts out through a hookah pipe gives the odd little these-and-those that make you who you are a kind of charm anyone can get behind. I guess I shouldn't encourage your kids to do this, but they don't need to know about the hookah just yet. The bottom line is, you still want to teach your children what love is, right?" "I am ancient. I am timeless. I am sad and I am happy. I'm a lonely person with lots of friends. I am me. I might appear fragile, but that's the true weapon on the warrior. Do not mock me, because I can mock you back and I can do it with a powerful singing voice and a woman's touch. You ain't got nothing." [First added to this chart: 05/26/2020]

"It's very dangerous to try and break my heart. I know you've done it with many other girls, leaving them crying in their homes and scarred every time they look at the phone. But I'm not a girl, I'm a woman. And if you try to tear me up inside, I'll tear you up from skin to bone. I'm not your property to slap around, I'm a free spirit and I don't care what your testosterone-ridden pride says. I'm not saying I'm better than you because I'm a woman. I'm better than you because I'm a lover, and you're a one-night stand man. I've been doing this since I was a little girl. I've had a lot of practice in breaking the souls of people who break hearts." [First added to this chart: 04/03/2020]
