Top 100 Greatest Music Albums by Spyglass
My chart is ordered from best to worst. These albums I have chosen are albums that go above and beyond the boundaries of music, and have brilliance to share in whatever forms they take. All of the albums I've chosen are very special to me in one way or another, even if they're outside of my comfort zone, because a comfort zone doesn't matter when you're trying to comprehend all forms of music.
I've added little stories that describe my feelings when listening to each album. They're quite odd, but I love a little odd now and then.

"I went out for a drive to the bar, and a song about a stairway to heaven played on the radio in my truck. When the song was over, I turned the radio off to let the song soak in my mind. The scenery I had experienced when hearing the song lingered in my mind until I opened the bar doors, reminded of the western saloon entrance. I saw Music himself drinking a gin and tonic. He wasn't the Devil, contrary to most people's assumption, but that dazzling grin on his face carried a vanity unmatched. Despite the shudder down my spine, I sat down next to him and bought a drink. As soon as I sat down, I heard that same strange song from the radio playing in the bar. I asked Music, 'How did you write something so incredible?' He showed me that infamous grin of his and simply replied. 'God makes better music than the devil.'" [First added to this chart: 04/03/2020]

"I remember my first vist to a meditation chamber. I'll never forget what that ghostly voice said to me when I sat down on the center of the sheep's wool carpet: Lay down, and close your eyes. Ignore the thunder and rain, and imagine yourself in a meadow, in the arms of the one you trust the most. You could be swimming in your woman's tears, you could be wishing you were someone else, or you could be gently stroking a woman for something vaguely dirty. Either way, you've got some powerful emotion you want to let out. There are many ways to unleash it and calm your nerves, so I suggest you try, and you'll find yourself in that meadow again." "Come, brothers, and let us glorify that which the devil tries to claim for himself: our untainted songs of the homeland in which we stayed young until becoming men by the pulling of our guitar strings. Upon this rock will the foundations of music be formed, and let those who preach this word join in for one last dance. And let the dance be a symbol of how our spirits will live on as the pioneers of this ever-expanding and ever-changing belief that rock will never die so long as the waltz is still danced. Separated we are heroes, but together we are Olympians." [First added to this chart: 04/04/2020]

"I see the brightest blue sky covering the glowing green natural world around me, shielding us all from the darkness of other realms. Instead, we must work to not let our own personal darknesses taint the natural world, not like politics but like men should to mice. The birds want to sing with us, but we rarely ever give them a reason to join us. Now maybe we can try to understand the pain of the birds by sharing with us our own, and they'll no longer have to hide from us by flying high up on the telephone wires, and we can sit on a tree branch like two little kinds and chirp and chat together." "I was running down a hallway when something invisible hit my head. The strange thing is that sometimes when you are knocked out, your consciousness is not trapped in some strange and monstrous creation. Instead, your consciousness becomes its own entity and travels to another world. And when I was knocked out, I flew to the moon for no reason other than to say I did. Since I was a ghost, the lack of gravity did not affect me. But I learned a little trick from the man on the moon, who looks a bit like Chuck Berry. He told me one of the many secrets to life, and with that, I achieved something amazing. While the moon is 6,783 miles across, I walked the whole thing in ten minutes. I didn't run; I walked. When I completed a circle, my ghost was drawn back to my waking body like the speed of light. And ever since then, I haven't seen the world the same way." [First added to this chart: 04/05/2020]

"We all look for beauty in the worst places. Where the jewels of Babylon were once the sought after treasure, most now prefer to seek the whore. And how many forms does that seductive whore take? We are all seduced, but I beg this world not to crucify her, but rather to ignore her. If you don't, you'll become the monsters she wants you to be." [First added to this chart: 04/03/2020]

"I feel a turning point in sonic vibration. Its grip on humanity has emerged from the inner depths of the common eargasm and has reched out to the universe in a more expansive way. Could a black hole have this power?" [First added to this chart: 04/04/2020]

"I keep trying to make out the message beyond the static, but it's not always coming in clear. It does, however, sound so angelic that I don't want to stop trying. It's funny, I like pretending that I'm on a search for the meaning of life and the true message of God, or maybe I'm at the edge of the universe itself." [First added to this chart: 04/07/2020]
