Personal preferences. History, influence and all of those things aside, these are my favourite records of all time.

Oasis at their best. From the Wonderwall riff at the beginning to the epic rock ballad that is Champagne Supernova, this record is the modern essence of rock and roll. Insanely catchy melodies, great lyrics and very cool guitar arrangements all being accompanied with the best moment of Liam as a singer.

This is one of those moments when rock music got a turning point. There's no new sound in Ok Computer. It's all been created before but the magic in this albums is how it takes little bits from places that the mainstream rock had never reached until 1997.

Hands down to arguably the best debut album of all time. Oasis revived the UK's rock and changed the direction post Kobain's death. How many debuts have songs with the quality of Live Forever, Slide Away, Supersonic and company? Not so many.

The Radiohead's album for you if you don't have trained ears. It may drag a little in some songs on the final part of the record but everything else is just so damn good.

Yes. It's technically a b-sides collection. But it's the greatest b-sides ever made. If only the I Am The Walrus cover and the instrumental "Swamp Song" would've been swapped away, this could've been the perfect album to close britpop.

Green Day went pop-punk on Dookie and it's brilliant, fresh and one of the best albums of the nineties. Armstrong's lyrics seems more mature on this than on Kerplunk.

It's a mess. It's the definition of what would result when you mix a great band and a lot of cocaine plus more cocaine. But it's a pretty good mess. Its singles are biblical.

The most known grunge album is also the best. Cobain lyrics and melodies are almost catchy as sad. It isn't beautiful to me but it's powerful. And I love it.
