Top 75 Music Albums of the 2000s by Error Finn

Conceptual extension - Part 6, The 2000s: "Music from the global village"

2000s (2000-09) hasn't been passed very long time. For some (certainly part of BEA's members), year 2000 (yeah, -Kid A- year!), may sound like nostalgia.I understand that some people want to "keep up with the spirit" and listen to the music of their time. It's not my way to work. I am too, focusing on the history of a person. Therefore, I can't immediately find the result of the new currents. I can see only aftermath.
Of the decade, the name "Music from the Global Village" has two meanings. First of all, information technology has reduced the world (such as this site). Second, the source of many a musical work can be just as well classical music, free jazz to world music. In addition, music is available .. everywhere! Listening to music requires / to develop media literacy. This allows pearls to find!
My list consists only the pearls. This 2000s profile, a tribute to the other, The Previous Charts.
Yes, I'm, old music lover. I also like the new stuff. The new must have something recognizable, but something - a personal touch.
This could be a completely new: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trFs_PDqSv4&feature=related

In the word "Head" is something magical. This word is found, as well as many of the famous band that, the significant name of the album.
(Portis- HEAD = almost Bristol)
Third album on the band's sound is recognizable, but still very new. Now, Geoff Barrow, Beth Gibbons and Adrian Utleyn music plays clearly multi-dimensionally, and bolder than the two previous studio album. The atmosphere becomes more intimate to the threatened again and again. The first few times listening to a point of reference is, of course, Beth Gibbons voice (I love, and fear it at the same time), a voice buried in the mass range, the range rises to the very surface. Her way of singing is the same as on the verge of tears, but still firm. The first time I heard "Third", I thought that this album is The Latest Masterpiece Of Popular Music.

When the "In Rainbows" was released, I had already learned to understand Radiohead, one of the great bands our time. This album focused a bit odd - the hype phenomenon. I didn't care. But the music rose, my CD player, a standard product. As a whole In Rainbows sounds like a really beautiful, but the eternal question, it is again, what this album is to be compared? It isn't "OK Computer", it isn't "Kid A" or "The Bends". Why Radiohead or any of the band (like the Beatles?)should do something again, something they have already done so well? I can't think of any reason, that as long as something this beautiful publication. In Rainbows settles into a fantastic Independent Component of Radiohead's Music. "Felt Mountain" is like a medley forgotten missed James Bond-pearls and Ennio Morricone pastiche, has not attempted to cover up. When I listened to the album for the first time so amazed:"Lovely Head" - where Alison Goldfrapp displays her whistling techniques (better than mine, I can't even whistle!). The album closes with "Horse Tears," the longest song on the album at just over five minutes. This song boasts an array of instruments from the viola, strings, violin, double bass and cello. The vocal arrangement is gorgeous because it's so bizarre and evocative. I don't want to catorgorise "Felt Mountain" into a particular musical style, but I suppose it could be best described as 'chill out' music. Listening to this album, cauSING paranoid mood - in a positive way! [First added to this chart: 06/17/2012]

Kate Bush's albums are expected at music world with great enthusiasm."Aerial" wasn't exception to the rule, but this was her first new work since "The Red Shoes" in 1993. "Aerial" is spread over two discs. The first, "A Sea of Honey", is a collection of songs, arranged for everything from full-on rock band to solo piano. The second, "A Sky of Honey", is a conceptual suite. Second album needs more listening (=minor victorious). The only single from the album was "King of the Mountain". The song makes references to Elvis Presley and the film "Citizen Kane".The album is the best Kate Bush, then the "Hounds of Love." Ok.. Writers make the best works at the age of 50, so maybe life will begin to experience the power reflected more widely in popular music ... [First added to this chart: 06/17/2012]

Previous albums have touched on a movie and film music, and now will be more visual art with music.Indeed..The track "Man with the Movie Camera" bears strong thematic similarities to music composed by Bernard Herrmann for the film "The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad".It must be subconscious, which will decide part of the music, which starts to like. I have chosen the Bernard Herrmann (June 29, 1911 - December 24, 1975, who wrote music - on the last day of his life - Martin Scorsese's "Taxi Driver") to music of the 1950s to the chart, and now he appears in one of the 2000s favorite album! In 1968, Miles Davis heard the Dave Holland to play at the Ronnie Scott club. Davis called the band at Holland, and a couple of weeks to get the bass player was already in America, at the beginning of its life as a. Two years after Davis' band brought Holland's jazz elite group (played the album "Bitches Brew"), and then everyone wanted to play with a young Englishman. During a long career in Holland has begun to achieve at a higher appreciation of the big bands' management."What Goes Around" starts out with the brassy "Triple Dance" "Blues For C.M." is a tribute to Charles Mingus with a colorful shade of Duke Ellington mixed into the arrangements."Upswing" and "First Snow" are somewhat more relaxed. This album is a must for any Jazz fan. [First added to this chart: 06/17/2012]

In some areas the groove between the narcotic, twinkle out human voices are also cold,(Sinead O'Connor) or the otherwise warm tone has been effectively chilled (Horace Andy).Massive Attack music itself is so visual, that songs of this album, don't have to make a rock video format. What do you think of the comparison: from "Mezzanine-100th Window" transition to the "OK Computer-Kid A" transition? Radiohead is not easy to make the listener albums. "OK Computer" seemed difficult at the time of "The Bends" in comparison, and Kid A, in turn, from the very different planet than the band's previous publications. "Yesterday I woke up sucking a lemon" repeating Thom Yorke album opening track - as summarized from the word go, what common sense and awareness level of this work are walked through. Album's a highlights are traditional-sounding Radiohead "Optimistic",and delirious fever ballad "How To Disappear Completely".The music combines the simplicity and madness, and chaos and beauty. On this album, Radiohead created itself "the world most independent band".They are above the common tastes. Despite the album rose to number one on Billboard's chart.
