Top 75 Music Albums of the 2000s by Error Finn

Conceptual extension - Part 6, The 2000s: "Music from the global village"

2000s (2000-09) hasn't been passed very long time. For some (certainly part of BEA's members), year 2000 (yeah, -Kid A- year!), may sound like nostalgia.I understand that some people want to "keep up with the spirit" and listen to the music of their time. It's not my way to work. I am too, focusing on the history of a person. Therefore, I can't immediately find the result of the new currents. I can see only aftermath.
Of the decade, the name "Music from the Global Village" has two meanings. First of all, information technology has reduced the world (such as this site). Second, the source of many a musical work can be just as well classical music, free jazz to world music. In addition, music is available .. everywhere! Listening to music requires / to develop media literacy. This allows pearls to find!
My list consists only the pearls. This 2000s profile, a tribute to the other, The Previous Charts.
Yes, I'm, old music lover. I also like the new stuff. The new must have something recognizable, but something - a personal touch.
This could be a completely new: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trFs_PDqSv4&feature=related

The title track is a pure the Book of Revelation, whose rhetoric is suitable for acoustic rhythm as the nails are nailed to the cross. Their own key to the next song, (Trent Reznor) "Hurt" is a good choice for Cash's presentation. Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus" is successful interpretation of the ideal acoustic, hypnotic pace. Cash sings a straight bite.Other tracks on the album are pretty good, though a foreseeable way of hearing. But the a driving force in album is Mr. Johnny Cash, himself. This band can be say the same words as in the Swedish The Soundtrack of Our Lives, group. Both of these are during the 2000s have done a great, could be called, "neo classic rock". Fleet Foxes focus for career in the 1960s re-creation of melodies. Album of songs names recall, the 1960s: "Tiger Mountain Peasant Song," "Quiet Houses", "Your Protector" and "Blue Ridge Mountains." The cover art is a detail of the 1559 painting Netherlandish Proverbs by Pieter Bruegel the Elder. It is nicer, if you own the album on vinyl. [First added to this chart: 06/17/2012]

Bill Frisell music can be found in the same form and content as, Ry Cooder and Miles Davis - combined. Allmusic wrote: "Blues Dream is a lovely release that should satisfy Frisell fans as well as jazz, country, and blues fans looking for a genre-bending experience." Best tracks:) "Blues Dream", "Ron Carter", "Outlaws", "What Do We Do?",and "Greg Leisz". [First added to this chart: 06/17/2012]

I definitely dislike the band Jayhawks, if I hadn't previously listened to such artists as Crosby, Stills & Nash, Flying Burrito Brothers, Neil Young, and The Band.It is precisely these factors come to mind when I listen Jayhawks.Compositions meet all the classic pop features: easy to hum along choruses ("Tailspin," "Save It For A Rainy Day," "You Look So Young"), delicate songs ("All The Right Reasons", "Stumbling Through The Dark", "Will I See You In Heaven ") and a nice minimalist playing (" Eyes of Sarah Jane "," Come To The River "," Madman ")."Music Rainy Day," is completely timeless, not only for retro sound but also by their content. I don't consider myself a nu-metal to a friend. In System of the Down's case, my ears had started to hear something else.Songs in the so-baked ethnic influences than the humor, which is a demanding art form is (with hints of Frank Zappa, King Crimson and Tool). At its best, "Toxicity" sounds like a compilation of the "modern Cossack songs." "Prison Song" - about American prison system. "Aerials" is a phenomenal track with beautiful melodies and huge hooks (they sing like hebrew prayer!)."Needles", hard song, with some more thrash. I've purchased in recent years, there's not a loser on this disc. It's well worth the price. "Toxicity" was released the week before September 11th Attacks. [First added to this chart: 06/17/2012]

If I have selected on my chart of "1960s-1970s rock re-creators", The Interpol is descendant of post-punk rock(Joy Division).Interpol has a short time opened the way for bands like, Killers, and Editors. The disc starts to resemble church organ keyboards, topped with quiet guitars, Banks's declarative tone and a light rhythm will increase the album, quietly heights in "Next Exit".This verse from the album has elements from garage rock to disco sound.Interpol is, in principle, dark periods of the year suitable piece of music.I bought "Antics" as used, only 5 €. Although Erykah Badu has had time to get tired so many times, and her comparison between Billie Holiday, then the juxtaposition can not be avoided. These masters of tone color, singing and musical style are so close to each other.I have found my "Mama's Gun" when it got great reviews in Finnish music magazine Soundi. Maybe I was expecting something bigger and more interesting than the sky channels (MTV, VH1), singing and dancing female artists. On this album (to me) was the so-called, a social occasion.
Thematically the album explores topics regarding self-esteem, relationship breakdowns, and police brutality.

Bob Dylan is definitely one of heroes of my favorite charts. Man's debut album release came just 50 years. "Modern Times" (the name of Chaplin's film) is the singer-songwriter Bob Dylan's 32nd studio album, released by Columbia Records in August 2006.Who else but Dylan has survived so well worn by years, and also gained appreciation from critics. And as the icing on the cake:"Modern Times" became Dylan's first #1 album in the U.S. since 1976's "Desire". It was also his first album to debut at the summit of the Billboard 200, selling 191,933 copies in its first week. At age 65, Dylan became the oldest living person at the time to have an album enter the Billboard charts at number one. Allmusic:--Though performed by a crackerjack band, they're played with fury; the singer wrestles down musical history as he spits in the eye of the modern world. But blues isn't the only music here. There are parlor songs such as "Spirit on the Water," where love is as heavenly and earthly a thing as exists in this life.-- [First added to this chart: 06/17/2012]

Named after an extinct Hawaiian bird, "O'o" is the charming follow up to the self-titled debut of composer John Zorn's most accessible project, The Dreamers. Featuring superb band Marc Ribot on guitar, Jamie Saft on keyboards, Kenny Wollesen on vibes, Trevor Dunn on bass, Joey Baron on drums and Cyro Baptista on percussion."Po'o'uli" lets Baptista's bird sounds work through a circular piano motif and unison vibes and guitar melody statement, "Little Bittern" builds through a locomotive feel serving as just a phenomenal feature for Ribot, who just eats the piece alive and "The Zapata Rail" reaches almost for a soul jazz feel.
