Listened to this year for #5albums69. What a wonderful year. So many interesting innovative sounds. Difficult to order the top 10, and indeed the top 20. Discoveries of the year for me were White Noise, Terry Riley and Kevin Ayers. Lots of Brazilian albums. Surprise of the year for me, was how much Abbey Road has fallen in my estimations, despite being an album that has been with me all of my life.
