Track 17 - Seven Curses
Dylan recorded the original song in August 1963 during the first of 'The Times They Are A-Changin'' studio sessions - the song didn't make the final cut and was finally released on the 1991 'Bootleg Series Vol 1 -3 (Rare & Unreleased)' album. Apart from a spoken version of the song released by UK actor Sebastian Cabot in 1967, the song remained uncovered until after the 1991 official Bootleg Series release. Since then, there have been about 10 cover versions, all but one (a Joan Baez live cover) by largely unknown artists. [First added to this chart: 12/01/2023]
