For me this was the hardest Death Grips album to get into but once I did it felt really rewarding. This double album is full of creative beats and noise and depressing lyrics by Mc Ride.

Vince went for more of a dance like sound on this album, and I get why people don't like this as much as his other projects, if you give it enough time you'll find out this is one of his best albums.

Standing on the corner is an artist that came closest to a sound like By The Time I Get To Phoenix together with, A Quiet Farewell by Slauson Malone (I know he was part of standing on the corner). This album is just two tracks, both being around a half hour long. There is not a single boring part on this album.
